Most plumbing problems don't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our Atherton dispatch board is staffed around the clock so a real person answers, not a voicemail.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in CA, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Experience matters here — a technician who's replaced a hundred water heaters spots the corroded shutoff valve or undersized gas line before it becomes a callback. That's the level of eye we send to every Atherton job.
Training doesn't stop after licensing. Our Atherton team runs regular refreshers on code updates, new fixture technology, and the material mix specific to Atherton, CA construction, so a repair holds up to inspection, not just to a quick test run.
Plumbing rarely fails without warning — it usually gives you a week or two of small signals before the big one. Watch for these.
A burst supply line or an overflowing toilet doesn't care what time it is, and neither do we. Our emergency crews carry shutoff tools, wet-vacs, and common repair parts so most emergency calls in Atherton are resolved in a single visit.
From a running toilet that's quietly inflating your water bill to a full re-pipe of an older Atherton home, our residential team handles the everyday and the extensive with the same attention to detail.
We work around your business hours where possible, not the other way around. Commercial clients across Atherton, CA rely on us for scheduled maintenance, backflow prevention compliance, and rapid response when a fixture goes down mid-shift.
Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
Hidden slab leaks and wall leaks get located with acoustic and thermal detection equipment before we ever break into drywall or concrete, which keeps repair costs down.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
A live dispatcher takes your call, gets a read on the urgency, and starts routing the nearest available technician.
We route the closest qualified technician in Atherton, and you'll get a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today."
Your technician diagnoses the issue and walks you through the fix and the flat price before starting, so there's no guessing at the invoice.
The repair is completed, the work area is cleaned up, and you're handed a written warranty on both parts and labor.
We quote the job, not the hour, so a repair that takes longer than expected doesn't cost you more.
Because our trucks are already staged around Atherton, CA, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
We're happy to have every technician show ID and license on arrival; it's a standard we hold ourselves to, not a special request.
If a repair we performed fails under normal use within the warranty period, we return and fix it at no charge.

If you're near Atherton but technically outside the city line, dispatch still covers you — our routing is built around drive time from the nearest staged truck, not a hard municipal boundary.
Because trucks are staged throughout Atherton, CA, most Atherton calls see a technician the same day, with priority routing for active leaks and no-water situations.
Always. You'll know the price before we start, and that number doesn't move once you approve it.
Anything actively leaking, flooding, or leaving a Atherton home without water gets emergency priority, day or night.
Every technician holds a valid CA plumbing license and is covered under our liability and workers' compensation insurance.
Yes — older pipe materials are a large part of the Atherton workload, and we carry the fittings for legacy systems on most trucks.
Usually. Electronic leak detection lets us pinpoint the exact location first, which keeps the opening small and targeted rather than exploratory.
Our technicians are trained across the major residential brands, whether you have a standard tank unit or a tankless system.
All work is backed by a written workmanship warranty — if the same issue recurs within that period, we return at no charge.
Emergency and after-hours calls are priced clearly at the time of dispatch — you'll always be told the rate before committing.
